What will you find inside the Magento course?

The course is divided into 9 main modules that will allow you to learn and understand in a structured way how to create an ecommerce with Magento 2

1. Introduction to Magento 2

In this module we will cover the basics of Magento 2, how to download the software and see a general overview of the platform, backend and frontend side.

2. Set up your store

Once we have downloaded the software and understand the basic concepts, we are ready to begin the main site configurations such as email, corporate data, and GDPR configurations.

3. CMS Pages and Blocks

Next, we will see how to manage the main pages of the site, about us, contacts, terms and conditions, and we will also see the usefulness and importance of Widgets and Static Blocks and how to best use them.

4. Catalog

Here we are in the heart of the course, the most meaty and important module, which covers the management of products, attirbutes and Categories. We will see all the product types and how to create them, and how to configure filters in categories and operational management of the catalog.

5. Customizing Design

We then come to the "Frontend" part, so the part visible to the user, and how to upload the logo and make some customizations to our site to make it unique.

6. Sales Configurations

It is now time to make dedicated sales configurations such as taxes, shopping cart and checkout, and configure Payments and Shipping

7. Sales, Customers and Reports

In this module we will see the whole frontend side buying process, and how to manage an order, creating invoice and shipping document. In addition to the sales process we will look at the customer side and all the internal reporting in Magento

8. SEO and Marketing in Magento

Search engine optimization and marketing play a key role in online sales. Here we will look at how to create and manage promotional rules and how to configure the site for search engines

9. Advanced

In this last, more "technical" module we will see how to leverage Magento's tools to speed it up such as caching, security and other advanced tools.
